I look out my window and what do I see?

An unfamiliar scenery right before me.

A city I once knew, now been clouded by destruction.

Sin of mankind is nothing that can be hidden, for this was already written.

Death strikes families left and right, yet people still continue in their wicked ways.

Mothers burying children.

Generations have failed, and this I can tell.

You see the truth is, people have turned their backs to Christ.

Wanting to do their own thing, pleasing flesh.

When flesh is leading them to an eternal place of flames, where no one can escape.

People have sold their souls, just to wear a mouth full of gold.

A piece of paper that rips faster than my notebook.

People have set their own selves up, our human nature is to self destruct.

Can you see, there’s nothing good about you or me. It is HE who makes me good.

He who allows me to live a life of peace and not a life of strife.

I battle with flesh daily, allowing me to die daily so He can abide.

A City in Destruction

God has His people in place and their only instruction is to Watch and Pray.

As a city burns into flames, I’ll pray and watch. Waiting on His command because He has the upper hand.

I am His Humble and Faithful Servant and His Will is better than mine.
