Do You Think You Can Do Life Without Christ?

We are living in times where nothing is guaranteed. You do not know when the price of your favorite snack is going to go up due to inflation. Not sure if you will ever get that promotion or raise you have been working so hard for. No guarantees that when you send your child to school that they are getting a quality education. These are the times we are in; nothing is guaranteed. Government Jobs use to be the ultimate goal for many people. Because they were seen as stable…we see that has changed. What is stability if you do not have Christ?

God is allowing these things to happen to get His People back to Him. There is no guarantee in this world but there is guarantee in Christ. Christ is the same always (Hebrew 13:8 KJV). When Jesus knew the hour of His death, He started saying things to the disciples, preparing them for what’s to come. One phrase that caught my attention in Matthew 26:32 KJV “But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.”

That “But After”, to me that significances a guarantee that Jesus will Rise, and He Did!

In a world of uncertainties, do you really think you can live without Christ? Who do you run to when it gets hard, when your mentally drain? Who do you run to when you need a miracle? Is it the miracle worker, Jesus? Or do you self-medicate, you self-heal?

There is no way that in the times we are in, we can live without Christ. There is no way we can live a day, an hour, a minute, a second without our Lord and Saviour.

Before I came into Christ, I thought I had it all figured out. Career, looking to purchase a home, rebuild my family. It was not until after I came into Christ, I realize that I was in so much danger. I realized that I could not go to the next level in my life because those around me were wolves in sheep’s clothing and I was the prey. A Young Single Mother just living life as far as doing what everyone else is doing. Working and taking care of my children. I could never understand why people would be jealous of me doing the normal life things. It’s not like I was rich person or anything. Why do people get jealous when you are moving forward with your life?

God showed me everyone for who they are, not how I saw them. I always seen the good in people. I’m not a judgment person, but in my younger years that made me naive. I was easy to fool, easy to trick. You could tell me anything and I’ll believe it. I was forgiving and too trusting. So, it was easy for these wolves to hide amongst me.

I look at all God has shield me from, and all that is protecting me from even right now. I look at how this road started, and where I am now. I know for a 100% fact I cannot live without Jesus Christ! Doesn’t make you feel good to know you have a friend closer than a brother? I do not have to dial a number to get in contact with Him, because He’s right there.

Let me show you how close Jesus and His Holy Spirit is…

Blow your breath………that’s how close Jesus is and He gave us a comforter, His Holy Spirit.

Doesn’t it make you feel good that you have someone who genuinely loves you for you? No matter if you gain 5lbs, or if you are different from others; He still Loves You! It has taken me some time to just get use to this kind of love, because a come from a home where this love never existed. I was used to people only loving what I can do for them.

I remember times feeling like God, if you want to give up on me, I understand. He looked at me and He pulled me in closer. Here I am trying to self-sabotage and He won’t let me. He still has a strong hold on me, and He always will.

Think about your life, maybe you have not accepted Christ yet but your curious. Reflect on how much better and more peace you will have if you could have a friend that will never talk about you on social media or judge you. Someone you can tell ANYTHING too. I mean ANYTHING, He knows everything anyways.

And if you have already accepted Christ, then my next question is:

“Have you fully committed?”
