Limitations of Motherhood

A mother’s short comings,
Leaving us to stay up late crying from hurt.
Because the truth is we are limited, from protecting our angels from the evils of the world.
Depression kicks in, but I don’t let it win….

Like how I can be a mother, and not protect my child’s smile?
I’m limited, what more can I do when all resources have been drained.
Living in an evil world where our children are the new market.
You child is sold to the systematics of this world,
What is a good mother nowadays?
Maybe If I didn’t care, my mind would be waxed clear, but I am not built that way.
So, every night I pray.
“God please make away; I am limited every day. But you are not.
In fact, you see a lot. I know you will surely make away.”
Limited I am, but the Son of Man holds out His right hand,
And says, “Cast all your cares upon me, for I have overcome the world you see.”
My limits have been removed.
