Throughout this life and your walk in Christ we will be faced with situations. Some may be more enduring than others, but we can learn from all situations, even those situations that are not our own. You never realize a person’s scars until you sit down and listen to what they had/have to go through daily. It often leaves you to think “if they are going through this, I know I can get through my own situation”. You may even wonder “Why do we have to go through these situations, if we are in Christ”? To be in the Army of God we must be strong. How do soldiers get their strength? Situations are to strengthen us, and to teach us.
The things that happen in this life are not by coincidence, everything has a purpose. When God chose you before you entered your mother’s womb, there was already a plan over your life. It a blessing to be chosen by the Most High God. The News reflects so many situations’ people face daily. Children getting shot in classrooms, teachers getting shot by students in classrooms. Students fighting teachers, can you even send your children to school to learn anymore? When you come into Christ your test and trials start immediately for some. Expect for some family and friends to turn away from you, Jesus lets us know that in Luke 21: 16-18. We cannot allow these Situations we face to hinder us from pressing forward in Christ; God gives us Strength to stand and fight while we continue forward in His name. The enemy wants you to get frustrated and run astray. Every time you are faced with a situation, He is there listening and smiling. Hoping that you will forget about Jesus Christ. How can you forget about the one who laid His life down for you? Now we may have not been there to witness or been alive at the time of his crucifixion but for God to send his only begotten Son. The word says that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
The Bible did not say a specific culture, race, or country. Have you notice that God’s chosen people even went through worse situations than we could ever imagine. King David was a man after God’s heart. He was faced with so many situations, yet he never walked away from God. People wanted to smite David. After David slayed Goliath, Saul got jealous. He wanted to kill him once he realized he was receiving a lot of praise for what he had done. After that David was running ever since. Jesus sent his people to help David like Jonathan who was Saul’s son who really liked David. They were friends. He also sent Nathan who helped King David. David as face with a lot of people wanting to end his life, yet God shielded him and protected him from it all. He was face to face with the enemy and God is so strong that his enemy did not take his life. God eventually gave King David rest from all his enemies If God protected David from his situations, what makes you think he can’t do the same for you? God will not allow the enemy to harm you, and he will give you rest from all your enemies just as he did for King David.
